These terms apply when you or your organisation use TradeControl, including the website at www.trade-control.com and the TradeControl app. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your organisation. [Contracting entity and its Australian details — to be confirmed. The product is owned by Specdoor Ltd (Company No. 16727754, England and Wales).]
The service
TradeControl is site record software for commercial subcontractors: Day Dockets, Site Forms, Log an Issue, SOW Query and Materials, with a Director view across every job. We may change, add or retire features. [Notice period for material changes — to be decided.]
Not legal advice
TradeControl provides commercial support tools only. It does not provide legal advice. Guides, templates, calculators and AI-generated drafts are general information. You are responsible for checking anything you rely on or send, including dates, amounts and contract positions, and for getting legal advice where you need it.
Accounts
- You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in details secure.
- A director of your organisation controls its account, can invite and remove users, and is responsible for what your organisation's users do in TradeControl.
- You must be authorised to act for the organisation you sign up.
Trial, price and billing
- New organisations get a 30-day free trial. No card is needed to start; we ask for one when the trial ends. The trial covers up to 5 jobs and 10 team members.
- After the trial, TradeControl costs $29 per month (AUD), billed monthly in advance through Stripe. There is no setup fee and no per-seat charge. [GST treatment — to be confirmed.]
- You can cancel at any time before day 30 of the trial and you will not be charged.
- [Cancellation after the trial, refunds, failed payments, price changes, and the “Founding 50” price lock offer — to be confirmed.]
Your content
- Your organisation owns the records it puts into TradeControl: dockets, forms, issues, photos, documents and the rest.
- You give us permission to store, process and transmit that content to provide the service, including sending it to the AI and email providers listed in the Privacy Policy and to the recipients you choose.
- You must have the right to upload what you upload, and the consent of people you record, photograph or name where the law requires it, including for meeting recordings.
Emails sent for you
When you submit a docket, form or notice, TradeControl sends it from our email service to the recipients you or your organisation have chosen. You are responsible for choosing the right recipients and for what the email says.
Acceptable use
- Do not use TradeControl to break the law, to mislead anyone, or to send unsolicited marketing.
- Do not try to access another organisation's data, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not upload malicious files.
Availability and support
We aim to keep TradeControl available and your data backed up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. [Support channel, response times and any service level — to be decided.]
Ending your account
You can stop using TradeControl at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is not paid. [What happens to your data after closure, and how you can export it first — to be decided.]
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. [Limitation of liability, exclusions and indemnities — to be drafted by the solicitor.]
Governing law
[Governing law and jurisdiction — to be decided.]
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest version at the top of this page. [How customers are told about material changes — to be decided.]
